I am an accomplished and dedicated Chemistry teacher with over six years of classroom experience teaching across all key stages in two contrasting London schools, including one of London’s leading independent schools. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and a PGCE in Chemistry from King’s College London, and completed my A Levels in Wandsworth. Alongside Chemistry, which I teach from Year 7 through to Year 13, I also teach Biology and Physics at KS3 level.

With more than 12 years of private tutoring experience, I have consistently helped students exceed expectations at both GCSE and A Level, with many achieving Grade 9 and A* results, including students initially predicted significantly lower grades. I have successfully supported students applying to highly competitive universities, including University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London, and leading medical schools. In addition to subject tuition, I provide preparation for competitive entrance exams, including the UCAT, alongside interview coaching and tailored support with exam technique. My lessons are carefully structured to build both confidence and independence, while developing a deep understanding of the subject and the skills required for exam success.

As a fully qualified and experienced teacher, I bring strong pedagogical knowledge, extensive curriculum expertise, and a thorough understanding of examination requirements across multiple exam boards. I strive to make Chemistry engaging, challenging, and accessible, using clear explanations, inquiry based learning, and proven teaching strategies that consistently lead to measurable improvements in student performance.

Having worked with students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs, I tailor every lesson to the individual learner’s goals, strengths, and areas for development. My aim is not only to help students achieve top grades, but also to foster resilience, curiosity, and long term academic confidence.

Based in Wandsworth/Putney, I offer both in-person and online tuition. I provide flexible pay as you go options, as well as intensive revision programmes during school holidays, and I am always happy to discuss a personalised learning plan to help each student reach their full potential.
