I am a native German, moved to England in 2012 to live here with my British husband, our bilingual daughter and our little dachshund.
I have an eye for detail and I will recognise your strengths and weak spots. In individually planned lessons you will learn in a way that is most effective for you and you will be able to improve and exceed your own expectations in no time.
I have extensive experience in preparing students for GCSE (AQA, Edexcel) and Goethe exams.
I teach with great passion and I have helped many students to become confident and fluent German speakers.
My lessons are 45 minutes and I charge £35 per lesson.

My child is dyslexic and has always found confidence a challenge, especially in academic subjects. She really enjoys doing well but can struggle when she feels unsure or out of her depth. Steffi has been fantastic at keeping her engaged and giving her the support she needs to succeed. Since starting lessons with Steffi, my child has been enjoying German much more and is feeling more confident in her abilities. It’s made a real difference to see her feeling positive about learning. With the step up to GCSEs coming in September, I was worried that the jump from Year 9 to Year 10 might take the enjoyment out of the subject. But with Steffi’s help, I feel confident that she’ll manage the transition well and keep enjoying her German lessons.

I required a text to be checked for my German writing exam and asked a few tutors if they could mark my work. Steffi was very quick to reply and not only but she marked it so perfectly! Someone else had marked my work as well but Steffi made far more corrections! I truly recommend her! I myself will be keeping in touch to have lessons.
