I completed my BSc in Psychology and my Postgraduate Qualification in Psychotherapy (Level 7 UK, High Distinction, BACP). I am currently a Child Psychotherapist and a Psychology Tutor. I am passionate about helping others develop and achieve their goals by providing encouragement, structure, and consistent support.

I have over 8 years of experience tutoring students at all stages of their academic journey. Over time, my expertise has grown significantly, and I stay up to date with the latest developments in all the subjects I teach and mentor in.

How we verify these
Each imported review went through admin review. The tutor proved ownership of the First Tutors profile via one of two paths:
- Photo match. The First Tutors avatar matched the tutor's identity-verified Tutorperch photo, confirmed by admin.

My 16 year old daughter very much enjoys Theodora's lessons. We started recently, but already seeing positive results. Theodora has positive and pragmatic approach which works both for our daughter and us as a parents. I am sure that with Theodora's help we will have overall positive outcome whilst doing A levels.

Ms Masinou is a wonderful teacher! I study A Level Psychology with her- she is very organised and supportive. Her explanations are clear but always detailed and lessons are interactive so I am actively learning concepts. She always answers questions really well and encourages them so I really feel like I’m engaging with the subject. Additionally, her knowledge of the exam format and specification is excellent, she gives helpful and practical advice on how to apply the knowledge in questions to get full marks and gives good feedback to help improve answers. I’m looking forward to continuing our lessons and would absolutely recommend her as a tutor!

I came to Theodora with only 3 weeks to write an essay as I had been let down by another tutor. I am a mature student and have not written an essay for a while. Together we managed to complete it but I would never have been able to do it without her kindness, help and patience. She guided me through the essay and helped me each step of the way. She has incredible skills and knowledge. I can actually say that I enjoyed writing this essay which is quite something! Theodora is so good at succinctly breaking down concepts and explains statistical knowledge clearly. She also provides beneficial examples of practice work that helps to internalise understanding in lessons. I would like to say that Theodora is an excellent and very helpful tutor. She has gone through my Critical Review presentation and my Research Method Quantitative (ANOVA) report. We managed to get them done in time. If I found Theodora from the beginning of my Academic year, this would of have been more helpful, as she is brilliant with time management and explaining the tasks and works in general. She is also very good at organising timetables and deadlines of each of my assignments. I recommend Theodora to all!!

I was in Leeds for 2 weeks in July 2022 and asked Theodora to give me some Greek conversation whilst I was there. We met around 5 or 6 times. Theodora always arrived before I did (!) and she gave me such confidence to speak; I hope we will start Zoom lessons in September!
