I was born in the Dutch speaking half of Belgium, and grew up in the charming town of Bruges. I learnt English as a child watching the BBC and listening to pirate radios like Caroline, and eventually I obtained a BA in translation Dutch-English-French.

My love for the Dutch language came in handy in my professional career as a journalist and editor. My love for the English language came in handy when I moved to the UK and started a business with my British partner.

I started teaching Dutch online during the pandemic, and I absolutely love it, I love helping people learn a new language from scratch.

My lessons are adapted to your goals, your time, your interests, how you learn best. I use everyday language, and I can tailor it to Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands or Dutch (Flemish) as spoken in Belgium.

I offer flexible one hour or two hour lessons.
