I have been taking composition lessons with him for a few weeks now. He has experience in lots of genres of music, which means he comes up with ideas I never would have considered on my own, and he has gotten me to think about my music in new ways that purely classical teachers have not. And he just gives great advice all around, and is a very friendly guy too!
