George has been tutoring my son GCSE Chemistry since the start of 2022. His approach and attention to detail have been exemplar. He put a plan in place that ensured my son understood the basics of Chemistry and he has since worked through the GCSE curriculum via a weekly lessons. My son was typically scoring around 50% in term tests, but he’s now much more confident in the subject and typically scores over 80% in his work, as well as end of GCSE 1 “mocks” where he scored 88% in Chemistry. They are now working closely at a pace that suits works well for my son, knowing he has to balance other subjects he is doing. My son is normally quiet but has been able to be open and confident with George, and they have a great relationship that works. As a parent, I’ve also seen George engage not only for the immediate lesson, but he typically follows up with additional work that allows my son to have continuous learning. I am extremely happy with George and would recommend him to anyone that needs a Chemistry tutor, and I hope to continue with George should my son decide to continue into A level chemistry.
