Vanessa worked with our daughter in year 11 to help her prepare for her maths GCSE. Our daughter was struggling and received a grade 5 in her mocks even though in the past she had been receiving 8s and 9s. Somewhere along the line she had lost confidence and missed some key elements in her learning. We turned to FirstTutor and found Vanessa who worked at rebuilding our daughters confidence and filling in the gaps in her knowledge. Vanessa has a patient, kind and practical approach that worked brilliantly for our daughter. In her recent GCSEs she received a grade 8 which far exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to have found Vanessa as a maths tutor for our daughter and can highly recommend her. She is professional, always on time and very knowledgeable.
