Chris has been tutoring me in A-level maths for 3 sessions so far. His style is really clear and meticulous - he doesn't let me get away without fully understanding how we got that answer or why we approached it a certain way. We have been working through past exam questions which is incredibly useful, he is very well informed about the exam (e.g. what formulas are in the formula book and what you need to learn) and makes slide shows on each topic with exam questions and mark schemes from previous years. I already feel more confident when approaching questions and feel like it has really helped me prepare for the exam.
