Yasmin tutored me for A-Level Economics from September 2018 to June 2019 as I got a C grade the year before and wanted to improve vastly in my retakes. Yasmin is a very patient and skilled tutor. We mostly worked on exam technique and essay writing, but also worked on content in areas I was patchy on. I completed exam questions as homework every week and we went through these questions in our sessions to work out where my strengths and weaknesses are - however, she is very flexible in the format of these tutor sessions so you are able to get what you want out of the service. The work we did saw quick improvement in my writing and the grades I was receiving. Due to her examiner experience, she was able to critique my work critically and constructively to ensure maximum improvement and confidence in my writing. Yasmin was also very flexible with our lessons, for example, when I was too ill to travel to Cambridge to meet in person, we had [contact details hidden — unlock to view] sessions where she marked the work in front of me or went through powerpoints that I was able to download to keep as resources for revision. Yasmin's tutoring service and the support she provided for me ensured I felt confident going into my exams this year and whatever the end result in August, my progress in the subject and my overall exam technique has come leaps and bounds. I would highly recommend Yasmin.
