Heather has been supporting my son on GCSE English for a while now - by far his worst subject and the one he used to dread at school - pleased to say we are very happy with the outcome - his grades have gone up 2 - 3 levels in his recent mocks. This wasn't an easy tutoring job - my son was very reluctant to receive help and seemed to have written himself of when it came to English, however, Heather managed to tailor preparatory work to suit my son and his interests, structuring help / support aids to a level he could work with and getting to know what motivated him. His confidence has increased in the subject and his teachers are also very pleased with his substantial progress. She has been reliable and well prepared and also is willing to come to tutor face-to-face which not enough tutors are willing to do these days, it seems. Thank you Heather!!
