Sarah · ★★★★★ · about Sandra B.

I engaged Sandra earlier this year as a tutor for my home-schooling daughter who needed AQA A-level Maths pre-exam tutoring in addition to what her online course offered (which was not very good unfortunately.) After an initial lesson at her house, my daughter met with Sandra online on a weekly basis for the two months prior to her first exam. Sandra is very knowledgeable about Maths as a broader subject, as well as having a great depth of understanding about the requirements of the A-level syllabus. Anything she didn't know about how things were done for AQA she quickly found out. Her teaching was engaging, thorough and very useful to my daughter who entered the exam period with a greater level of confidence thanks to Sandra's work with her. Sandra is a bit of a tech whizz, so she manages the online lesson experience with a high level of understanding and skill. She was generous in the time she dedicated to finding the right material for my daughter to work from, and was good at using email, OneNote and WhatsApp to send practice material and supporting documents for lessons. She was organised and good at communicating throughout. She was also very friendly, positive and supportive towards my daughter too, which was very welcome on a sometimes rather lonesome and challenging journey. We were grateful for Sandra's input which will have helped my daughter perform better in her exams. We can highly recommend her.
