My daughter was predicted Grade 3+ for her GCSE in Maths. Unfortunately for Martin covid restrictions prevented him from ever meeting my daughter & from August until May they relied on Skype/Teams to have their lessons. Initially my daughter’s Teacher said that she had no confidence in class & would pretend she understood. Within 3 sessions with Martin her Teacher reported that it was like having a different child in Class. She was confident, asked questions & understood. Due to covid all students grade predictions plummeted following assessments. Because of having Martin teaching her, my daughters didn’t. The Teacher told me that Martin was making a huge difference & to thank him. My daughter really enjoyed learning Maths with Martin. Despite never meeting him, she liked him & his style of teaching. My daughter got a Grade 4 pass in Maths. My daughter now enjoys Maths…… finally. We cannot thank Martin enough for making what was an unpleasant subject for my daughter, enjoyable.
