I asked Rick to help my 18 year old son to obtain his grade 5 theory in a 6 month crash course. Though Charlie is gifted musically he had little interest in the theoretical side of things ! Rick was able to make the learning fun, often using the guitar as an aid memoire and Charlie actually started to enjoy the logic behind the making of music. Time keeping was excellent and homework was set when requested. Rick is a talented and interesting musician and we both wish him luck with his career. Jane Poyser
