I am a very experienced primary school teacher having taught for over 20 years in a variety of schools, both state and independent, teaching the whole primary range. I have tutored successfully for over 10 years with some families staying with me for extended periods of time.

My lessons are individual and planned to suit the needs of each child. I enjoy working with children helping them gain confidence with academic skills and also to provide extra extension activities for those who need that extra depth to their learning. My teaching style is calm, friendly and relaxed but with a strong focus on basic skills.

I have worked with younger children who are finding the learning process difficult and supported phonics and early writing skills.

I have also prepared children for KS2 SATs and successfully supported children for entrance exams to independent schools.
