I'm currently studying Physics (MPhys) at the University of Manchester, and I tutor Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from KS3 up to A-Level.

I understand what examiners are looking for and the techniques that help students achieve top grades. As someone who completed these exams recently, I can also relate to the challenges students face and explain difficult topics in a clear, approachable way.

I have two years of tutoring experience, working with students of different abilities to improve their confidence and grades. I've helped students improve from Grade 4 to Grade 8 at GCSE, as well as supporting high-achieving students aiming for the top grades. I also taught violin for over a year, which helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to adapt my teaching style to each individual student.

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, done through identifying weaker areas and building confidence through clear explanations, guided practice and frequent exam practice. I set homework and quizzes where appropriate, and work with my students to create a structured lesson-by-lesson plan.

Studying Physics at university means I'm using mathematical and scientific skills every day, allowing me to explain concepts in ways that go beyond simply memorising the syllabus. I also have lots of connections to other STEM students at University, should my students have any questions about studying a specific subject at a higher level!
