Since qualifying as a teacher in 1993 I have worked in state and private schools for over 20 years. I now concentrate on tuition which I started about 14 years ago. Since COVID I've gained lots of experience doing tuition online and I now do all my tuition that way. I tutor in A - level and GCSE physics, although due to the demand for A - level physics tuition I have come to specialise in that area. I have tutored in syllabuses from all the main exam boards as well as some of the less common boards like Cambridge International.

My approach to tutoring involves inspiring real interest in physics and encouraging students to be aware of the connections between areas within topics and between topics themselves.

When I'm not teaching physics I enjoy hiking and golf and I still still keep my hand in at martial arts, which I used to teach. I have practiced yoga and tai chi and trained in a physical therapy called Full Movement Method.
