About
Hello, I’m Daniela C., an experienced Romanian language tutor with over two decades of expertise in teaching Romanian as a foreign language in alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). My extensive background in education has equipped me to guide students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, in achieving fluency and confidence in their language skills.
I have been privileged to teach diverse students from various cultural backgrounds and linguistic proficiencies in Romania and the UK. My experience includes roles at esteemed institutions such as The Romanian Cultural Institute in London, The Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, and other governmental organisations.
Throughout my career, I have successfully worked with a diverse array of students, including those preparing for exams, professionals seeking to improve their language skills for business, and individuals with a personal interest in Romanian culture and language. I am recognised for my professionalism and ability to significantly enhance the learning experience with a teaching style that is both understanding and highly effective.
My teaching style is highly structured yet adaptable. I focus on creating a personalised learning plan for each student. My organisational skills and dedication ensure that students understand the material and apply their knowledge to a high standard. I believe in a balanced approach that combines grammar, vocabulary, and conversational practice with cultural insights to make the learning experience comprehensive and engaging. Daniela was really helpful for our daughter, who needed help to become more confident and efficient with her GCSE RS. She jumped 3 grades from her predicted. What I liked most was that Daniela was honest about the number of sessions needed and so we didn’t spend more time than necessary. She gave good feedback and revision tips.
