Matilda B.

Hi! My name is Matilda and I am a medical doctor. At the moment, I am working as a teacher of medical students and studying for a qualification in education. I have a first class honours BA degree in Medical Humanities, in which I took english, sociology and philosophy modules, with an interest in bioethics. In my spare time, I like spending time with my two dogs, watching Netflix, baking and going out with my friends.

I took Chemistry, Biology, English Literature and History for my a-levels, alongside applying for medical school. I know what it's like to be balancing it all! I have been tutoring online for about five years now, and tutor GCSE and A level science for several regular pupils.

I love studying and discussing science because of how complex the ideas can be; the feeling when you understand a tricky concept and can apply your knowledge to solve a problem is unmatched!

I like to arrange my sessions based on what the student wants to do; using past exam papers and practicing model answers as much as possible. I really enjoy tutoring and helping students to achieve their very best. As such, I like to take an individualistic approach to each of my students - I want to get to know you, how you learn and what I can to do help you reach your goals.
