I have been tutoring Science and Maths at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A level for over 11 years now. I have a degree in Biomedical Sciences and 4 A levels in Science and Maths.
I have worked hard in this time developing the skills that allow me to explain complex issues to each student in a way personalised to them. Focusing on students understanding and enjoying learning the principles they need to apply this knowledge with confidence and subsequently succeed in their exams. By learning each individual needs, I work with them to best cater lessons to enhance and support their studies.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring face to face and online for over 10 years. I have experience working within a local high school helping pupils in classes in maths and science. I have also worked within the science department as a laboratory technician. These roles involved working with both fellow student and teachers to understand their needs and help improve various areas of the school.

Tutoring Approach

I fully appreciate that despite best efforts being made by both student and teacher the environment of a classroom is not always the best one to achieve one's best. The one on one nature of my tutoring allows me to identity the specific needs and learning styles of each student and work with them in a way best suited to them. Tuition also leads to interest and engagement in a subject that can be impossible within a classroom. It is this that ultimately leads to the student putting in the work needed to achieve their best.
