About
I’m a French native teacher with over 18 years of experience. I hold both QTS and PTLLS for adults. I deliver custom-made online French lessons for adults and secondary students. For GCSE & A-Level students I work mainly with AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I also work with both foundation and higher GCSE students and adapt my lessons to their needs and objectives.
I have an excellent rate of success with many students going on to study French in university.

How we verify these
Each imported review went through admin review. The tutor proved ownership of the First Tutors profile via one of two paths:

Anne is an amazing teacher! Not only very knowledgeable but great in conveying that in teaching terms. Charming and a lovely person to communicate with. Tailoring her teaching methods specifically to our daughter's needs, identifying the gaps as she is approaching her A-Level mocks, has been very important. Our daughter has had lessons since early January and has found Anne incredibly caring, attentive and encouraging. Anne is very resourceful, her feedback are constructive and detailed with a roadmap for progress. She is so generous with her time in between the lessons and has already offered extensive help with the IRP. She truly has made our daughter (who much enjoys Anne's lessons!) feel incredibly supported already. Anne is very empathetic and we feel very lucky to have found her.

Anne has been fantastic with my daughter who was lacking confidence at the start of her GCSE French. She is 100% reliable and flexible with time. It is clear from the school reports that my daughters grades have improved and she is enjoying the subject much more. Lots of work still to do but with Anne's help I am confident she will achieve a good grade.

Anne has provided great support to my daughter despite only starting lessons a couple of months before GCSE. Anne improved my daughter's confidence and technique quickly, allowing her to achieve a 9 with a minimum amount of work outside of the lessons.

Anne is truly an excellent French tutor. She's knowledgable about the subject and always prepares tailored materials for the sessions. Her expertise in translation is definitely a bonus point as she has special insight into the accurate interpretation of texts, which I personally find extremely useful. Moreover, she pays close attention to my pronunciation (which can be difficult considering the nature of online classes) and is always patient with the sounds I struggle to produce. Highly recommended!

Anne's engaging and enthusiastic personality has transformed our daughter's perception of French as a subject lesson. Before being introduced to Anne, our daughter wasn't fond of French and felt it was all 'a waste of time'. Zara now thoroughly looks forward her French lessons, both at school and her tutor sessions.
