  Angela is an amazing 11+ tutor! We started quite late, but she worked wonders in the time she had. Thanks to her dedicated teaching and structured approach, our child secured places at Forest and Chigwell schools. She kept us informed every step of the way, highlighting areas for improvement and assigning targeted homework. We couldn't have asked for a better tutor—highly recommended!

  Highly Recommend Angela for 11+ Preparation! We enrolled our daughter with Angela about six months before her 11+ exams, as she needed focused practice and guidance. Even within the first two weeks, we noticed remarkable improvements in her studies. Angela helped her master time management and tackle complex questions with confidence. Her approach is very organized and systematic, and the homework assignments were incredibly helpful in reinforcing concepts. Angela ensures that sessions are productive, without pressuring the child, which made the experience enjoyable for our daughter. Additionally, she conducted two mock interview sessions, which were invaluable. These sessions gave our daughter the confidence to handle the interviews professionally and know what to expect. We are thrilled to share that our daughter received offers from all four of the top schools in our area that we applied to, allowing us to choose the best option for her.   Angela has been tutoring my 5-year-old son for the past five months, and I have been very impressed with her ability to handle and mould him. She is helping us prepare him for his 7+ exam in 2023, and we have already seen a material improvement in his writing and numerical skills. The lessons are well structured and are helping my son make incremental improvements in specific areas. I would highly recommend her.

  Thank you for all your hard work over the last four months. Our daughter's mathematics has improved immensely. In such a short amount of time she has grown in confidence and really enjoys learning. The techniques used in your lessons allow her to see for herself her own results. Encouraging her to want to learn more and do well. The support and help around areas of weakness has been greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your advice and knowledge in helping us be better prepared to support her at home.   Angela's tuition programme has been a wonderful help for my yr5 dd. It has helped my dd build up her confidence and skills, especially during this time of school closure. The tuition has been very well structured and tailored to my dd’s progress, picking up on problem areas when needed. There is the underlying progression towards sitting the 11+ in September, and Angela has already put in place the structured timetable of practice exams to provide her students the best opportunity possible. My dd has moved up into her y5 top quartile and her end of year report was a true reflection of her improved confidence and dedication to learning. I would highly recommend Angela as she is a truly organised professional, and with her honesty and first-hand experience, I can truly relate to Angela which instils confidence I have found the right help for my dd. Angela’s team are exceptional, and I cannot speak highly enough of the lessons my dd is receiving. A truly dedicated effort, and tailored towards areas that need development.   Angela has been tutoring my son for just over a year to prepare for his 7+ assessments which he sat in January 2020. She quickly identified areas of development and worked with him on those which not only helped him improve, but also gave him confidence. She is always willing to guide and give advice so what she works on in her sessions can be worked on at home. The sessions were well structured and Angela always kept us informed of progress . My son also loved them and said he enjoyed them each week. In addition to the sessions, Angela runs interview practice which we found really helpful in getting my son to open up and communicate confidently. Her approach and the practice worked wonders - he was offered places at all 3 schools he sat for - Bancrofts, Forest and Chigwell. Thank you for all your hard work Angela! Sonia

  Big Thankyou Angela . My daughter has been with Angela for last few months and has just been offered 7+ places at both schools she sat for. Brentwood and Chigwell. My son is also with Angela at the moment preparing for 11+ Angela seems to be able to create an environment where the children enjoy themselves and also progress their learning . Having had a couple of tutor experiences before I was a little worried but both kids have actively looked forward to their tuition sessions. Always Calm and professional - Thankyou

  Since my daughter has been coming to Angela's lessons, she has been inspired by her learning skills. She has ignited the imagination and love of learning. My daughter now has a positive attitude, her school teacher has noticed the changed, she now puts her hand up to answer questions and takes part in class discussions. Works independently, enjoys going to Angela's classes, so much more confidence. A wonderful teacher, thank you so much Angela you have really open my daughter's mind.

  Angela is absolutely brilliant and my daughters have made definite progress in English and Maths. Angela is thorough, professional, kind and an excellent explainer. My daughters look very forward to her lessons and enjoy them. My daughter received her first star of the week certificate in school, for progressing well in reading and writing.   Angela has been an absolute godsend for my yr4 daughter. The tuition & guidance my dd has received has showed in the progress made at school & the improved reports she's received from her teachers. Angela is organised, professional and above all, kind. Angela's intervention has resulted in my dd being able to actually have a chance and sit the 11+ this September. Regardless of outcome, my dd has come a long way in the last 18 months. She's gone from struggling at school with KS1 in Yr4 to being in the top quarter of her class of 30 in Yr5. I personally, as a parent, could not recommend Angela more highly. However, as you've taken the time to get this far in my review - thank you for reading - I shall now pass you on to my daughter: Hello. Angela has really helped me with my VR and creative writing.   Angela has been a fantastic tutor guiding my son up to and through his secondary school entrance exams. My son really enjoyed his time with her, and sessions were always well structured, professional and motivating. There was a clear and steady improvement in his performance, knowledge, focus and exam technique. A timely session on interview technique was particularly useful. We made it clear from the beginning which schools we were targeting and the program of work Angela provided was tailored to these goals. We've just received confirmation of places in Bancroft's, Forest and Chigwell, with academic scholarships from Forest and Chigwell. Many thanks, Angela! We can't recommend you highly enough, see you in a few years for offspring number 2.

  Our 2 sons (ages 6 & 7) are currently spending 1hr a week with Angela, and in a couple of months we have already seen improvement. She is friendly and our sons like going to her sessions. We like her style of teaching, and we have high hopes that her methods and efforts will translate into exam success at the end of the year. We would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Angela :)

  The reason for choosing Angela was the methodical approach and clear structure of her lessons. She is encouraging and motivational while firm and professional insisting on discipline and hard-work. Our daughter is continually improving her ability to answer exam questions. We found it important that Angela insists on widening the general knowledge beyond the exam material and study for live not just for exams.
