About
I am an experienced Scottish secondary-school Business Management teacher with over 13 years of teaching and private tutoring experience. I specialise in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Business Management. I am also a qualified and regular SQA marker, with over 10 years of experience marking exams and coursework at these levels. My experience gives me a detailed understanding of the standards expected in SQA assessments and how students can improve their performance.
I have taught learners with a wide range of abilities and needs, and my approach is tailored to each individual. I aim to identify what each student needs to improve their understanding, confidence and attainment, whether that means reinforcing course content, developing exam technique or working through past-paper questions.
Lessons are delivered online through Microsoft Teams, with work shared using OneDrive and Microsoft 365. I am also happy to provide students with my own teaching and revision resources, including presentations, questions, quizzes and assessments.
