Carlota C.

I am a native Spanish speaker and a qualified teacher with QTS. I have four years of experience teaching in secondary schools across England, as well as over ten years of experience in private tuition. I have prepared students for their GCSE Spanish exams both in schools and through one-to-one tutoring, working with the AQA and Edexcel exam boards.

I have also taught pupils in Years 4–6 (KS2) in the UK and English in secondary schools in Spain. My experience teaching different ages and abilities has helped me develop an adaptable, student-centred approach.

Tutoring approach

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, focusing on strengthening grammar and vocabulary, developing speaking, writing and translation skills, and building confidence. For GCSE students, I combine language practice with exam technique and personalised resources to help them approach their exams effectively and achieve their potential.

I also offer a free introductory session to discuss your goals, identify your learning needs and answer any questions before we begin.

Functional Spanish

I also offer practical Spanish lessons for learners who want to communicate confidently in everyday situations, whether they live in Spain, are planning to move here or want to connect more deeply with Spanish language and culture.
