Having qualified as a primary teacher I have since moved onto working at universites helping student to manage their money, whilst working in 5 different schools/universities gaining a wide base of knowledge & experience.
Tutoring Approach:
Your child comes first - they should be treated like a learner who wants to improve. The aim is to boost both their grades & confidence within the subject to allow them to become more independent in their future careers.
All the while keeping the parent(s)/guardian(s) updated on the child's progress at the conclusion of every lesson.
Lessons last either 1/1.5/2 hours each week.

My son has found Christopher extremely helpful. He finds him very easy to understand and from avoiding going to maths class, he is now catching up with his fellow pupils. Genuinely couldn't have asked for a better tutor. As someone who has been out of education for quite a long time, I had very little hope of understanding what we were being taught in classes, let alone passing my exams, but with Chris' help I've not only passed both my maths and physics that he helped me as well so far, but passed them with over 90% which I'm absolutely ecstatic about as I never thought that would be possible for me. He's patient, understanding, and a delight to learn from, so I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a maths or physics tutor.

Christopher is friendly and approachable. It was clear even from the first lesson that he has a way of explaining maths to my grandson Callum at a level that made the subject much more understable. Chris was patient and so calm with Chiara, taking time to explain things so she fully understood the concept and working through questions and past papers to make sure she knew how to answer. Her confidence really increased week to week. She went from failing Maths to getting an A in her Nat 5. Would highly recommend Chris as a tutor.

Hi, My son was really struggling with Maths. and was advised, after his prelim that he would most likely have to resit National 5 next term. My son was predicted to not pass his Nat 5 maths. We contacted Chris who responded very quickly and arranged for him to visit. He asked what our concerns were and then took the time to ascertain what help my son needed and catered the lessons to best suit him. Chris worked with my son for only 7 weeks and took my son from a predicted no pass to a C grade in Nat 5. We can't thank him enough for his help.
