I am a highly qualified mathematician with years of experience tutoring GCSE and A Level Maths. I am an enthusiastic professional, supportive, patient and friendly tutor who aims to help my students enjoy the subject, become confident in their subject and ultimately achieve improved grades.

I have extensive experience in tutoring boys and girls of all ages for Maths GCSE and A level. I have a comprehensive knowledge of all current maths qualifications including the specifications for GCSE and A Level Maths offered by various exam boards. From first time exam takers to mature students needing to pass maths exams in order to progress to a chosen university course or in their career I am able to assist them in achieve better than expected grades.

My tutoring is tailored to the individual pupil helping them to build on strengths and find understanding and confidence in overcoming perceived weaknesses. We can focus on topics they find difficult, consolidate what they are currently learning in school, working through homework or preparing for exams. I aim to improve both their mathematical ability and understanding by providing clear explanations and working through exam style questions together so they can tackle questions independently. One of my joys is the Eureka moment when a student suddenly realises that they understand a topic they have previously struggled with.

I have a First-Class BSc Honours degree in maths. I also come from a Business background in Computer Software where I taught mathematical concepts and developed analytics so I can talk authoritatively about maths in Business.
