Dr Amna

I am Dr Amna, a physicist and space engineer with a passion for making Physics and Maths click for students. I hold a PhD in space engineering, specialising in satellite communications, alongside an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. My work has been recognised through the WE50 Top 50 Women in Engineering Awards 2026 and the TechWomen100 Awards.

I tutor GCSE, IGCSE, and A-level Physics and Maths across the Edexcel, AQA, and Edexcel International exam boards, working with students ranging from those needing foundational support to those aiming for top grades and university entry in STEM subjects.

My approach centres on building conceptual understanding before technique: students learn why a method works, not just how to apply it. I use structured lesson packs, worked examples, and past-paper practice matched to each student's specification, then review homework together at the start of the next session so mistakes become learning points. As a researcher working in a technical field myself, I bring real-world context to abstract concepts and help students see the relevance of what they're learning.
