I am a patient, passionate and dedicated female teacher with 20 years teaching experience. I have kept a track record of helping students progress to achieve top grades. My lessons are fun, informative, tailor-made to each student.
I am experienced Mandarin, English, Maths tutor and a certified 11+ teacher. I have taught Chinese mandarin for over 20 years in UK to students from different countries with diverse linguistic backgrounds. I always try to inspire students with the interest in Chinese culture and pictography nature of the language, so they won't feel frustrated to start speaking Chinese. I have also taught English and Maths to primary & secondary students for over 15 years and helped them prepare for various exams. I have kept a track record of helping students progress to achieve top grades.

My son has been having lessons with Jing for 5 months and we have already seen his confidence start to grow with English. His spelling test scores have gone up and his finding it easier to remember the spellings. Jing has been a great support with his understanding of verbs, nouns etc whilst adding in work for comprehension Our son also enjoys the lessons which is a bonus. Would 100% recommend Jing to anyone looking for a tutor for their child to support with English primary school

My daughter began maths tuition with Jing at the start of Y5 and has been seeing her for a couple of months now. Jing's teaching style is calm and patient, yet disciplined and firm - which is what my daughter needs as she struggles with confidence, focus and speed. Jing has good knowledge of the Y5/6 syllabus and is systematically working through key topics at a pace that suits my daughter. We can see that my daughter's confidence in maths has grown under Jing’s tutoring and is already benefitting her at school. This was recently evidenced by her achieving 100% in a school maths test and moving up a set. Thank you Jing for your persistent support and encouragement.

I have helped Irina's son Daniel to prepare for his GCSE Maths since March. He improved a lot in his Maths skills & working speed, and gained confidence. He passed the GCSE exam and achieved grade 6. He and his family are very happy with the score, which allows him to take Physics and Core Maths in his Sixth Form school and help for his architecture study in university.

As a grandfather living off-shore I set up the tutoring remotely and have not had direct feedback. But Abbie tels me that her work with Ms 'Jenny' Jing is giving her more confidence in her GCSE Maths and Mandarin - the given explanations are clear and the teaching calm and considerate. I would thus recommend Ms Jing wholeheartedly as a tutor.

Miss Jing has been teaching my 10 year old daughter maths for about 6 weeks now. She is punctual and always extremely prepared for the lesson. She has moved through the year 5 topics systematically. I can certainly see the benefits gained my daughter, especially with her mental maths.

I have had two Mandarin lessons so far with Jing at her home. She is well-prepared for each lesson and is patient when I am practicing my speaking. Sometimes the pace can be a little quick for me as I’m just starting, but I hope this will help me get better quicker. She sets some ‘homework’ which is useful to keep practicing in between. I’m really looking forward to future lessons with Jing.
