I'm George, a Cambridge economics graduate from Magdalene College and now working in London as a professional economist. I love meeting new students and helping them improve. I am very enthusiastic about economics and hope to be able to show to next generation why it is such a great subject and useful skill to learn about. In my free time I love playing sports (badminton, golf, tennis) and learning about history.

I have nearly 10 years’ experience tutoring Economics and helping students achieve strong exam results and university places. I studied Economics at the University of Cambridge and currently work as an economist at an investment bank, which allows me to bring a practical, real-world perspective on macroeconomics that few tutors can offer. I teach students at all levels, from GCSE and A-level through to undergraduate, and know the major exam board syllabuses thoroughly. I can reliably move students from B level to A/A* in a relatively short period of time by setting out a clear framework to think through economic issues. Sessions focus on clear explanations, exam technique, and building genuine understanding. I also provide university application advice and interview practice. Parents and students appreciate the combination of academic expertise, professional insight, and a track record of helping students succeed.
