Senior Examiner and Head of Department with over 26 years experience for Geography, Economics, Business, Politics and Psychology. Helping students achieve outstanding grades by assessing how you learn.
Getting the grades is not the hard part. It`s understanding what the examiners are looking for in your answers that is. I`m an examiner with over 26 years experience in marking the A Level exam papers NEA coursework and IB.
Achieving academic success in your exams takes more than just "reading" your notes and hoping that it sinks in. The majority of students that I work with often come to me because they struggle with the "exam technique" or just don`t know how to learn vast amounts of information in a relatively short period of time. Often this is because the essay technique or exam technique is not focused on at school. My expertise lies within assessing the way you learn and then tailor make our sessions in order for you to learn efficiently.
I am an experienced examiner and teacher of A-Level and IB Geography, Business, Economics, Psychology, Politics and Classical Civilisation.

Greg tutored my daughter in Geography shortly before her A levels. Following a major dip in confidence, focus and motivation during her mock exams, Greg picked up the pieces and put them back together again for my daughter, appreciating what my daughter may be going through and the impact this could have on the whole family. He approached the subject matter from a different angle, so it wasn’t simply more of what school had to offer, and this also had a positive impact on my daughter in her other subjects. He taught what was needed to get through the exam in a crisis situation, providing good examples, suggestions of what may be included in the exams, and motivated my daughter to keep going and to keep working. The exam results are not yet known, but without Greg, I am not sure my daughter would have even sat the exams. I can’t recommend Greg highly enough.
