About
I’m an experienced Maths and Physics tutor with a First-Class Honours degree in Physics from Loughborough University. I have been tutoring since 2019, helping students improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance across KS3, GCSE and A level.
My lessons are calm, supportive and tailored to the individual student. I focus on building a strong understanding of the underlying concepts before developing the problem-solving skills and exam technique needed to turn that understanding into marks. Whether a student is aiming for a top grade, struggling with a particular topic or simply wants more confidence in the subject, I adapt each session to their needs and goals.
Alongside tutoring, I compete internationally as a professional Triathlete for Great Britain. Balancing elite sport with my degree and tutoring has given me a highly organised and disciplined approach, as well as an understanding of the pressures students can face when juggling schoolwork with other commitments.
I primarily teach online, using interactive explanations and worked examples to keep lessons engaging and productive. I can also offer in-person tuition in and around Loughborough, subject to location and availability.
I tutor Maths and Physics up to A level, as well as GCSE-level Science. I also provide focused support with revision planning, past-paper practice and preparation for upcoming exams.

Harry is a polite engaging young man, who connected well with my daughter during their tutorials. He encourages, and explains science clearly. He is extremely knowledgeable in all the science topics and maths. Passionate about science which comes across and makes the student enthusiastic. He checks that they are understanding the lesson and the topics, and gives praise which encourages them further. So very pleased we had Harry for the last few months before the GCSE exams.

Harry took the time to get to know my teenage Son and understand his concerns during the first session. With every session my son's confidence grows, in his words he feels like his brain is bigger after a session with Harry! Harry has only had a few months to tutor my son before he is due to sit mocks/tests but he worked with my son to agree a plan and has motivated him to stick to it.
