I have over 10 years' experience of teaching students privately in maths and science. Graduating in 2021 from a Masters in Chemistry with first class honours from Imperial College London, I have come across learning styles of all kinds throughout my time in academia and industry. This has enabled me to teach students of all abilities, from all backgrounds, successfully guiding them to reach the goals they set for themselves.

On average, I improve my students' outcomes by 2 grades, from when we begin working together until their formal assessment. Of course these achievements would not be possible without the hard work of my students, but I believe that this strong track-record, that has endured over a decade of private tuition, stands testament to my ability to motivate and enable students to thrive and succeed.

My teaching style is wholly collaborative and I rely on students taking responsibility for their own learning. I work with them to help them understand what they need from me but also themselves to achieve the goals they set for themselves. This not only teaches them the subjects for which they have approached me to teach, but also teaches them to learn by themselves. Self-learning is an increasingly valuable skill, especially as a student continues into higher and further education.
