Johanet E.

I am an experienced Maths tutor based in Horley, Surrey, with over 15 years of one-to-one Maths tutoring experience. I specialise in GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level Maths and also teach Functional Skills Maths. Lessons are available online or face-to-face at my home in Horley.

I work with students across a wide range of abilities, from those who need help building confidence and securing a GCSE pass to students aiming for the highest GCSE and A-Level grades.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and explain difficult concepts in clear, manageable steps. Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and can focus on topics currently being covered at school or college, gaps and misconceptions, examination technique, or past-paper practice.

I provide a large selection of worksheets, practice questions and past papers, giving students plenty of opportunity to consolidate each topic. My approach is friendly, patient and supportive, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My goal is not only to improve results, but to help students develop genuine understanding, confidence and independence in Maths.
