My professional work has included academic and curriculum contributions to course development at the University of Oxford, together with invitations from the University of Cambridge to contribute academic papers and lectures.

My Approach
I personally design and deliver every programme. Tuition is never taken from a generic template: it is shaped around the student’s present attainment, learning profile, objectives and relevant deadlines. Our sessions will be as bespoke for you as your fingerprint.
My approach includes:
Diagnostic assessment and precise objective-setting
Individually planned lessons and tailored resources
Clear explanation of difficult ideas
Examination and marking-criteria analysis
Active recall, questioning and deliberate practice
Development of independent thinking
Constructive feedback and defined next steps
Progress evaluation and parent communication where appropriate
I combine high academic expectations with warmth, patience, humour and individually responsive support.
I empower students to understand difficult ideas, retain knowledge, apply it independently and communicate their thinking clearly under pressure. You will become more knowledgeable, more independent and more confident in communicating what you know.

I have substantial experience adapting tuition for students with ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, visual impairment and other individual learning needs.
