About
ABOUT
I have an MSc and PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, and I graduated with a distinction in control systems engineering. I have expert proficiency in the use of LTspice, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and C/C++ programming.
I engage in online-tuition of GCSE, A-Level, and University-Level Engineering Courses. I take a bottom-top approach to tutoring i.e. ensure the basics are firmly grounded while gradually introducing complex concepts and using copious amount of examples while at it.

APPROACH
Understanding the basics enhances learning. Use of analogies and aids has always been my strong point when I teach and explain concepts to students.
I take a bottom-top approach to tutoring, that is, I ensure the basics are firmly grounded while gradually introducing complex concepts and using copious amount of examples while at it. Furthermore, I employ a student-centered teaching and learning practices by engaging my students in active learning techniques such as concept maps and faded worked examples.

I reached out to Razak for my GrandSon who was in his final (3rd) year at University and was a product of Covid where he had not had Face-toFace lectures and had never been allowed entry to the Lab which in Electronic Engineering is a disgrace on the University. His tutors were providing him with no help whatsoever with his project involving controller design on a Hexapod Robot. You never know when you ask someone to help on a web site such as this but I can tell you that if you need Razak to help he goes above and beyond to make sure all is going well. Over the 2 months my grandson has been tackling his project Razak has kept in touch with him and guided him through it, without actually doing it, which is what he needed. Razak's knowledge of Control Systems and Design and how to make the Hexapod Robot work efficiently is immense and I'm sure he is proficient with other topics. The project has been submitted now and we will await the results with confidence. Razak is also keen to know the results which show his level of care. Whatever the result, Razak, we thank you and hope others ask for your help as we have done Roger Evans.

Razak was an incredible help with my university Dynamical Systems and Control exam preparation, which I had 2/3 weeks for. We had regular classes over this time period. Razak explained all of the topics covered in the module clearly whilst we went through example questions together. These topics included linearisation, designing state-feedback controllers, and Nyquist plots. I went into my exam feeling prepared and much more confident than before we started classes.
