Hi, I’m Lauren, and I am currently a student at Durham University. As your tutor, my aim is to deliver engaging and supportive lessons that encourage students to ask questions and develop a clear, confident understanding of each topic. Having once been a tutee myself, I understand what it feels like to be on the other side of the screen. This experience allows me to approach tutoring with empathy and adaptability, ensuring lessons are tailored to each individual’s needs and learning style. I place great importance on creating an environment where students feel comfortable and motivated in their learning.

I have previously tutored primary school pupils in reading, supporting them in developing confidence, fluency and comprehension skills. In addition, I have provided English language support to students who required extra guidance, helping them strengthen foundational literacy skills. Alongside this, I have experienced tutoring A Level Biology and Psychology as well as GCSE Biology and Psychology. I have worked alongside a range of students at a variety of level helping them to achieve their target grades and beyond.
