I have been teaching continuously since starting work as a tutor in March 2024. I have over 400 lessons of tutoring experience, mostly in maths. I have taught for GCSE and A-level across exam boards, and university entrance examinations. All my past GCSE students achieved passes, including two who were borderline grade 3/4. My past A-level student got into her first-choice university to read dentistry. I have been able to continue tutoring with a handful of new students since commencing full-time employment. My outgoing GCSE cohort studied GCSE maths and GCSE physics with me. I continue to teach A-level maths and introductory philosophy for 13+ admissions for two others.

I have a deep and keen interest in all things mathematical and philosophical, taking my four A-levels in maths, further maths, physics, and philosophy into an MMathPhil at the University of Oxford. I have a friendly, personable demeanour and I see lessons as a two-way street; expect me to bring complete focus and thorough preparation to every lesson.
Over time I have built up a library of hand-written notes and resources which continues to grow. I regularly prepare bespoke teaching and revision materials for my students and share these with students and parents in whatever way is convenient.
Please note that tutoring is my second job, and I fit it around a full-time job. I therefore teach evenings and weekends. I'll be as flexible as I can around existing students and work commitments. Thank you for your understanding!
