I believe that learning should be fun! My lessons are engaging and fun, I take pride in establishing how my pupils learn so that I can teach them most effectively. My aim is to develop a love of learning, helping each child reach their potential. An engaged and motivated learner (and teacher!) will develop the skills necessary to achieve and accelerate their academic process.

I have been teaching for over 20 years, I’ve taught in every year group from Foundation Stage up to Year 6. I love teaching all subjects! I have experience with teaching, and tutoring, KS1 and KS2 children, including home-schooling, 11+ and SATs focused sessions. I’m happy to support students complete homeschooling learning, homework given from school, develop confidence for KS1/KS2/preparing for secondary school, 11+ tutoring, or provide a personalised learning programme based on their needs. I’m happy to be flexible and will listen to you, and your child’s, expectations for our learning journey together.

I will always make sure that you are aware of the learning successes and challenges that we have in each session. If you are deciding if the Grammar route will be appropriate for your child, I will give you honest feedback to help support your, and your child’s, decision.

If you’re interested in finding a tutor anytime Monday through to Friday in term times, please get in touch. Parents are welcome to stay or leave for the sessions, whatever is most appropriate for your child. I’m happy to teach online, in-person, or a mixture of both. I’m based in Aylesford, Kent.
