I am an experienced tutor with five years of successfully helping pupils improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance in Maths and Physics.

I currently specialise in Higher Maths, National 5 Maths and National 5 Physics, providing friendly, supportive one-to-one online tuition tailored to the individual pupil.

My approach is based on making difficult topics feel manageable. I explain concepts clearly and step by step, identify gaps in understanding and then work with pupils to build both their knowledge and their confidence. As exams approach, I place increasing emphasis on past-paper questions, problem-solving and exam technique, so that pupils are comfortable applying what they know under exam conditions.

I recognise that every pupil is different. Some need help getting to grips with a particular topic, while others understand the course but need support turning that knowledge into exam marks. I adapt my sessions accordingly rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Over the past five years, I have worked with pupils of a wide range of abilities and have had great success helping them make progress towards their individual goals. Just as importantly, I want pupils to finish a session feeling more confident about the subject than when they started.

I tutor online and aim to make sessions relaxed, engaging and interactive, while maintaining a clear focus on helping each pupil achieve the best result they can.
