Hi, I'm Tariq, a friendly and experienced GCSE Maths tutor with over five years of tutoring experience, helping students improve their confidence, understanding, and exam performance.

My academic background includes achieving Grade A stars in GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, followed by A-Level Maths, Physics, and Economics, where I achieved As. Having successfully navigated these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and know how to break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps.

Professionally, I am currently a Degree Apprentice working for a leading construction consultancy in London, where I use analytical and mathematical skills on a daily basis. This allows me to show students how Maths is applied in real-world careers and why the skills they learn today can open doors in the future.

Over the years, I have worked for five different tuition providers, delivering both one-to-one and group lessons to students of varying abilities. This experience has given me a thorough understanding of effective tutoring techniques, learning styles, and exam preparation strategies. Whether a student is aiming to move from a Grade 4 to a Grade 6 or push towards the top grades, I tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs and goals.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and engaging. I focus not only on improving grades but also on building confidence and encouraging independent problem-solving.
