About
Hi, my name is Gerad. I have been a full-time maths tutor since I graduated from the University of Warwick where I received a first class degree studying mathematics with an integrated masters in 2021.
I teach maths to students from KS2 all the way to university level. Whether you are looking to learn the necessary content, prepare for exams, or just build some confidence, I am sure I can help you! If you are interested, send me a message and we can find a time that suits.
I have over 5000 hours' experience tutoring with hundreds of different students - all of varying levels. I have tutored year 6 pupils, KS3 students, GCSE students and those doing A-levels in both maths and further maths.

How we verify these
Each imported review went through admin review. The tutor proved ownership of the First Tutors profile via one of two paths:
- Photo match. The First Tutors avatar matched the tutor's identity-verified Tutorperch photo, confirmed by admin.
- Cryptographic email check. The tutor uploaded an original First Tutors email (.eml). We verified the DKIM signature against First Tutors' signing keys and cross-checked the embedded tutor ID against the claimed profile.

Gerad obviously loves his subject and has the skill of being able to impart knowledge in a way that best suits the individual. My son (who really didn't like or 'get' Maths at school or college) was dreading 'boring' Maths tutoring, but has suddenly discovered the subject isn't nearly as challenging as he once thought and - amazingly - now really enjoys his lessons, with his knowledge and confidence increasing every week. Gerard was an excellent tutor. He explained the reasons behind the maths very well. I understood the why not just the how and this helped me make rapid progress. The sessions were always well prepared and tailored to the specific areas I required. If topics came up mid-session, Gerard was confident in altering the session as needed in order to ensure I always understood what was needed.
