Mrs Sharin S.

I’m a qualified Psychology teacher with over 15 years’ teaching experience in the UK and internationally. I have taught Psychology at leading schools including Surbiton High School and Harrow International School Hong Kong, where I spent eight years as Head of Psychology. I am also a current Edexcel A Level Psychology examiner, giving me valuable insight into assessment requirements, exam technique and what examiners are looking for in high-quality responses.

I teach GCSE, A Level and IB Psychology and tailor my tuition to the individual needs of each student. My lessons focus on developing a strong understanding of Psychology alongside the skills needed to perform well in assessments, including exam technique, essay writing, application, evaluation and effective revision strategies.

I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can build both their knowledge and confidence. I offer 1:1 tuition as well as small-group sessions, with lessons available online.

I hold a BSc in Psychology from UCL, an MA in Educational Psychology from the Institute of Education and a PGCE from the University of Hong Kong.
