Hi, I’m Rona, a medical student with three years of tutoring experience, currently completing a Master’s in Research before returning to medical school for my fourth year.

I teach GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, as well as A-Level Biology and Chemistry. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their academic goals. Having studied science at an advanced level throughout my education, I understand both the challenges students face and the techniques needed to succeed.

My lessons typically last 1–1.5 hours and are tailored to each student's individual learning style. Whether you learn best through visual explanations, active recall, exam-style questions, worked examples, or step-by-step guidance, I adapt my teaching to ensure lessons are engaging and suited to your needs. All sessions are carefully structured around your exam board specification to maximise progress and exam performance.

Over the past three years, every student I have taught has improved by at least one grade in their target subject. Alongside developing a strong understanding of the content, I place a particular focus on exam technique, helping students learn how to apply their knowledge confidently and efficiently under exam conditions.

As a medical student and research master's student, I have developed strong scientific knowledge, excellent study skills, and an appreciation for the importance of patience and adaptability in teaching. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in their abilities.
