Experienced Mathematics Teacher & Head of Department

With over seven years of teaching experience, I am a fully qualified and practising Mathematics teacher, currently serving as a Head of Department. Throughout my career, I have taught in a wide range of educational settings, including prestigious private schools, international schools, and state-funded schools, giving me a deep understanding of how to support students from all backgrounds and ability levels.

I have extensive experience teaching students from Key Stage 2 through to A-Level and adult learners, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This breadth of experience allows me to adapt my teaching style to meet the individual needs of every student, ensuring lessons are engaging, accessible, and effective.

My philosophy as a tutor is simple: confidence comes first. Many students struggle with mathematics not because they lack ability, but because they lack confidence in their own skills. By creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment, I help students build self-belief, develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts, and ultimately achieve the grades they are capable of.
