They initially struggled with interpretation-based questions and probability, and were unaware of the importance of showing clear mathematical steps to obtain full marks. We worked together using mark schemes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for presenting solutions more effectively.

This student was initially very introverted and hesitant to ask for help, with little interest in the subject. I focused on creating a comfortable and supportive environment where they felt free to ask questions about both academics and general concerns. Over time, they became much more open and actively discussed all kinds of doubts during lessons.

Although she had completed her syllabus, she still had doubts in many topics, which affected her grades. We worked through each chapter one by one to strengthen her understanding. Alongside clearing concepts, I also guided her on how to structure answers effectively and use marking schemes properly to improve her overall performance.

When this student joined me, nearly 70% of her syllabus was still incomplete, and her exams were only 6–7 months away. We worked consistently with daily sessions to cover the entire syllabus within the limited time. Through hard work, structured preparation, and regular practice, she was able to achieve an A grade in her exams.
