I am a senior English specialist with 17 years of experience helping students break through that barrier. I don’t use off-the-shelf workbooks or generic lesson packs. Examiner Insight: Having marked for AQA and taught Edexcel and Eduqas, I demystify mark schemes. I show students exactly what examiners are looking for, removing the guesswork from revision.

Targeted EAL & Writing Support: I equip students with bespoke writing frames, specialised vocabulary banks, and confidence-building dialogue techniques so they can express their full intelligence in writing.

My Approach to Results

Every student’s starting point is unique, and I don't believe in empty grade guarantees. My goal is to build genuine, independent literacy skills that last. By focusing on evidence-based methods and deep understanding, the vast majority of my long-term students consistently meet or exceed their target grades (ranging from Grade 3 foundations to Grade 7+ high achievement).

Online sessions take place via Microsoft Teams during weekday evenings and weekends.
