I am a Cambridge mathematics graduate with over 15 years of experience teaching A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, TMUA, MAT and STEP.

Having studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and completed postgraduate study there, I have spent many years helping students gain confidence, improve their grades and secure places at top universities including Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial College London and UCL.

I also worked for three years as a STEP marker for OCR, giving me a detailed understanding of what examiners look for in high-level mathematical solutions. This enables me to prepare students not only to obtain the correct answer but also to communicate mathematical reasoning clearly and effectively.

My own academic background includes Outstanding (S) grades in STEP I, II and III, a British Mathematical Olympiad Top 50 Award, an AEA Mathematics Distinction, and near-perfect A-Level results in Mathematics (597/600) and Further Mathematics (594/600).

Every student learns differently. I adapt my lessons to each individual's strengths and weaknesses, focusing on deep understanding rather than memorisation. Whether a student is aiming for an A*, preparing for university admissions tests, or rebuilding confidence in mathematics, I provide structured lessons, clear explanations and ongoing support.
