I see myself as a coach and I help students get motivated! I have substantial experience working with students with special learning needs esp. dyslexia, dyspraxia and autism.

I have more than 15 years experience working as an on-line tutor. I'm very patient and work at the student's pace. I give a lot of encouragement and I also make sure they have materials to work from between sessions. I use on-line resources to reinforce learning and this is proving to be popular with my students who think of it as a game rather then homework.

I work closely with the exam boards, using their materials and reading their feedback every year. This ensures that my students avoid common mistakes and get excellent results. I have also worked as an assessor and a marker and I am experienced in using marking schemes.

My first career in the UK was working in Finance with international Companies. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK in 2003 (ACCA member). I have practical experience in both Financial and Management Accounting. I teach both for Bookkeeping and Accounting Professional qualifications (AAT level 2 to 4) . I'm a qualified teacher and assessor who used to work in Further and Higher Education where I taught.
