Citizenship tutors

Citizenship is offered at GCSE (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and covers government, the legal system, democratic processes, rights and responsibilities, and a citizenship action investigation that students design and carry out. It's a smaller-cohort subject, usually one of a student's GCSE options rather than a core. Tutoring helps most with the investigation write-up (a coursework component where structure and evidence quality drive the grade) and with the application-based exam questions where students are asked to evaluate political or legal scenarios. Look for tutors comfortable across politics, law and active-citizenship pedagogy, with explicit experience of the relevant board.
