Francesca is organised, careful, insightful and adaptable in her approach to helping me with my Italian. Her preferred way of teaching (me) involves conversing and instructing all the time in Italan, with a focus on grammar as much as on conversation - Francesca really knows when to let small mistakes pass in the interests of encouraging fluency, and when to interject with grammatical rationale. I am enjoying the course very much, and at the same time I find myself quite tired after every session - the balance works very well, I think.
