It's been almost two years as a casual adult learner with Satomi as my teacher. Satomi is patience, informative and engaging teacher making sure I acquire a level of comprehension before learning another new concept. Her well paced teaching style reinforces grammar and literature concepts from textbooks through everyday conversations and homework reviews. Satomi also gives further explanation as to how it is used through a variety of situations and what it means translating it back to English. When I am speaking or writing Japanese, she will rearrange my phrasing to be more understood by a native speaker as well as breaking down grammar concepts to correct my usage along with impromptu exercise drills. Furthermore she will add additional vocabulary around these subjects/talks based on the way I speak and write. Not only does this help me use Japanese more in my self study, it also makes me better at expressing myself. Highly Recommended!
